Sniff, Sniff

Can anyone identify this?

Here's a hint:

Ready for the reveal?

Gray took it upon himself to make his own afternoon snack. Only slightly inedible.

I was sweeping the living room and smelt a horrid burning smell. I went scouring the house trying to identify it. Then I heard an unmistakable POP! The toaster. Gray was toasting my keys.

My Honda key no longer stays on a key ring. The key fob is useless. And mine and Spencer's library cards, Kroger plus card and CVS card are melted together in one big unrecognizable lump. Not to mention the goop permanently affixed to the inside of the toaster.

This little mischievous endeavor will probably cost upwards of $100. Plus I have to re-fill out all the rotten forms to get new key chain cards from Kroger, CVS and the Library.

Stinker!

What a stinker!

My first guess after your picture of the clue (which I thoughtwere a pair of keys) was one of the kids toys that had been run over by the car, and a mashed snail on top of it.

I was way off.

my first thought was the dryer...the toaster is even a better story.

Your kids are too much. I want to spend a whole day with them, I just have a feeling it would be the most humorous day of my life!

Boys are made of snakes and snails and puppy dog tails- and you should know this already!

OH MY GOODNESS! Luckily it didn't start a fire. :(

Was the "Sniff, sniff" title from the smell? or tears?

What a little stinker! But Melissa's right... at least it didn't start a fire. I think Rachelle tried to toast a plastic baggy when she was about Gray's age and it DID start a fire.

Oh my!!! That is incredible. I am sorry but this story made me smile. Good thing no one got hurt.

Apparently you didn't feed him enough lunch...poor kiddo was hungry and had to take matters in to his own hands.

Yikes! That must smell bad, melted plastic is horrid. Kids do funny things.

I'm surprised it didn't start a fire. Crazy! I think your 2 year old is more of a stinker than my 2 year old.

Oh dear! Boys sure are something else, aren't they? At least there was no fire!!

My first thought was a melted book that one of the boys put in the oven. That would have been better, right?

BOYS! I know those car clicker thingies can be expensive! We have only one for my car because we lost the other and still haven't replaced it after a year!

Sorry! Good luck!

I guess when a mother doesn't feed her kids, he must resort to extreme measures..... ;) J/K!!!! My goodness- that is wild! Just think of all the fun stories you are collecting on him to use later!!!!

AH?!!!! Oh my word. I think I'd be more mad about having to redo the cards than the key-though the price tag would also bug me. Good pics of the mess.

Your stories make me fearful of ever having a boy!

Katie, YOu are so nice about Bostons room. I appreciate the compliments....You said Autumn is looking for letters? If you have a dollar tree near you, I bought some of them there, 2 for a $1!

Oh Katie I am so sorry but I can't stop laughing. I thought I had issues when my girls wouldn't stay away from my mascara but I've never had a kid put keys in my toaster. I guess because I keep mine unplugged and in a cupboard. You just might want to consider this if you like your home how it is and not burnt to the ground!!! ;) LOL
