March Comes In Like a Lion...

I know this is nothing compared to the blizzard that swept Ohio, but we got 8 inches of snow last Thursday. In March. In Texas. For Traci and Shalece...it doesn't really snow here. It supposedly snows like 3 times a year and rarely sticks. I was talking to a girl who grew up here and she said she's never seen this much snow. And March? Really? By this coming Thursday...one week later...it should be near 90 degrees. That was truly bizarre.

We had fun playing in it though. It made me remember what's fun about playing in the snow. It's way better than the bitter cold Ohio snow. It was a dry snow with no moisture in the air. We could lay in the snow and play outside forever and not get wet or cold. It was awesome. Even Reid, who usually lasts three minutes before heading back inside, really enjoyed the snow this time. It was great.

Super cute pics!!! I actually miss the snow a lot.

Okay, so Kori told me about a restaurant called "traildust" that she says you and your family have to go to. Totally kid friendly, they have dancing, an indoor slide, great food and if you wear a tie they cut it off and tack it up on the wall. There is one in Arlington and one in Dallas. Check it out!

I know I havent posted in a while...My life seems like all in involves right now is nesting, wiping Olivia's runny nose and taking care of Camerons academy stuff...all very interesting I know!

I'm glad it's going to warm up before I get there. I don't have any snow clothes. I can't believe how much snow you got!!!

I still can't believe that you've gotten so much snow! We haven't gotten anything! (Although a few years ago it snowed on Rich's birthday at the END of March). Looks like you had fun though... hope the warm weather comes soon!
