You Look Outstanding In The Snow.... Out Standing In The Snow

Finally, a snow day! Now most of the time, I HATE the snow. But there is something magical about the first real snowfall of the year. Parker didn't stop jumping for joy (I mean that very literally) from the moment he peeked out the window until I FINALLY took him out to play at 7:00am. Reid wasn't interested in looking out the window when I told him there was snow. I figured he must not remember what snow is. He's not even 2 yet. So I held him up to look out the window, thinking he'd then get excited. Nope. It's like he didn't notice. He was far more excited about the car that drove by. So I bundle up the boys for a romp in the snow. Still, no excitement from Reid. He hated it more than me. He was the only one with snow pants on AND he as one prosthetic leg...so only half the toes to freeze. Not interested. So after about 10 minutes of me trying to make him like it, I sent him back in the house to play by himself. Party pooper. Park and I played for a long time.

Parker is darling in the snow. I don't think it's possible for him to get any cuter than he is out in the snow. He is just giddy. He's been begging all day to go back out side. He could care less how wet and cold he is. He makes me laugh. We were listening to Jingle Bells in the car today and he said, "This is a good song for the snow." He made me bring the Cd inside to listen to some more.

I of course did not have a camera...these pictures are from last years snow. Reid, obviously, has changed a ton. These picture are back when he had two feet. Parker looks the same. He was even wearing the same coat and his favorite dinosaur hat from Aunt Debbie. The only difference is his wrists are showing this year. We STILL have not got Parker a coat. We did order one online, but it completely didn't fit, so we have to return it. And...unlike Monday...I dug out hats and gloves for the boys.

And for Betheny...Parker is 3 1/2, Reid will be 2 in January, and Grayden is 2 months.
