I just have to contrast our first day of school photo shoot (ironically enough, Reid is wearing this very outfit today.):
...with the last day of school photo shoot:
Same goofy kid...much older version. He's excited about the idea of no school all summer. I suspect he'll be whistling a different tune in about two weeks...maybe less. In fact, when school was canceled 2 days for the swine flu, he was chompin' at the bit to go back.
They were great. It's really been a fantastic year. Dropping Parker off the first day was a little tough...it's hard to trust someone else with your kids every day. But the end of the year is even harder. I hate that he has to say goodbye to his friends and teachers. Parker was so at home there.
This is his teacher Ms. Wood.
And the assistant teacher Ms. Milly
And the two of them together...Parker's expression is great.

That is amazing how much he has changed- I am excited to meet the "new grown up" Parker in a few weeks! How would you feel about a calling in RS?! Let me know!!
Wow! I remember when you posted about his first day, that seemed to go by so fast! I'm glad he learned so much and I feel for you about having the kids being bored in the Summer. I bet it's harder with 3 boys to entertain! I know it's hard enough to entertain Derek. He's not a kid who is content coloring or making projects. He wants to be outside, doing things all day long!
Look how much he has changed!!! I seriously need to put Olivia in a program like that.
Good luck with the summer months!
SOOO darling!! Haha-the last pic especially. SO cute!! What a mini hunk. His poses are to die for. Good luck this summer!!
Wow! He does look so much older and grown-up! That is great that he enjoyed school so much. I wish you luck this summer!!
What a fun year for him. And I see he's letting you spike his hair again.
What a cutie! When you have a bright one like him...it is always a challenge so they don't get bored! I know you are up to it!
What a fun year! William can't wait for pre-k in the fall. I think it'll be great for him. Good luck this summer!
Time flies by in a flash! Javin is graduating high school in a couple of weeks... Shaw just finished 2nd grade yesterday. I got some bricks and a roll of duct tape to strap some bricks on his head so he can't grow up anymore.
Ah, he looks so much bigger. Love his facial expressions. What a smart little guy!
My geeks actually are already complaining about summer break. They love school, Austin for the learning and Autumn for the social aspect. We need to share ideas so the kids don't take us out!!
Lauren is the same way with school, when she gets sick she's so upset she has to miss school. Right now she's counting down the days until schools out but once she's home and so bored I know she'll also wish she were back at school. I'm not that mom either who can keep a consistence work/learning schedule with my kids. I don't know how stay at home mom's home school their kids. Anyways, Parker is darling and so grown-up and he's so smart!
I love Ms Wood and Milly, they are AWSOME. I didn't get a chance to tell you that I am really going to miss you and your family. I will really miss you guys.

He looks so much older in the last day of school pic compared to the first day. That is neat that he loved pre-k, I can't wait until Emma is old enough.
He has grown a lot this year! Love all his poses- he is definitely your kid....:):) I am happy for you all that he had such a great year- he is a great kid!!
Cute kids Katie!! I can't believe you have three already. Lucky. Tam was catching me up on your life and then she told me to just blog stock you...So. i did. I hope you are well. Cool that you're in Texas.
It is amazing how much they change in such a short time and you don't even realize it till you look back at old pictures. What a sad day. We missed the last day of preschool. I am so happy he had such a great experience. Great job Parker.
