Extra, Extra...

Highlight of tonight's Olympics...

I just heard an announcer say of Ryan Lochte, "You take away Michael Phelps, you take away Aaron Piersol, and you're looking at the world's second greatest swimmer."

What?!! Could you just have said FOURTH greatest? Spencer and I had a good laugh about that one. Luckily, the announcers haven't stopped us from enjoying the Olympics.

Yea, that does sound bad. The announcers can be soo harsh! As if they could attempt to do half of what these athletes can accomplish! Jake and I are big Olympic fans ourselves. Michael Phelps is amazing. He is like a human fish in water! And I love watching the womens volleyball. Those girls can kick some serious butt out there.

Maybe I could be the second greatest of something if I could just take away all the other greatest people. hmmm.

Ha ha ha. I'm watching the Olympics right now and just heard that (Arizona is 2 hours behind Texas). Brilliant comment by an announcer.

That is crazy!! I can't believe they said that on TV!!! I would be offended if I was that guy. I agree- the announcers are awful, but the Olympics are fun. Maybe we should just watch it on MUTE. :)

I love the olympics but the announcers have not been so great. I missed that one though :)

Did you see the gymnastics last night?! I, like the crazy person I am, stayed up till 1am to see Shawn Johnson get the silver- I was so proud of Nastia Liukin- she was amazing- and she is so tall- those legs go on forever! I don't think the announcers were very good for her last night, either- I don't think they expected her to do so well- she was fantastic!
