New Kicks

Thanks to a sale at GAP, we got Parker some much needed new tennis shoes. Cute huh? Parker was looking really old to me this weekend. He's turning 4 next month, but I think he looks older. Doesn't he look about ready for kindergarten? Frankly, he's a little smarty pants and he'd probably keep up just fine.

Cutie pants, huh? Speaking of cutie pants...I think this is my all time favorite church outfit. Parker wore these pants, too. But the tie has always been Reids. I love the combination.

Does anyone else think he looks a little like his uncle Mike in these pictures? Particularly in the picture with his arms in the air.

Parker has found my camera and learned to use it. It's funny what an almost 4 year old finds important to take pictures of.

There was also one of Spencer sleeping. But for your sake and his, I decided not to disclose it. Parker woke us up at 5:45am yesterday by snapping a picture. He had taken a bunch of Reid, toys and some pictures that he had colored before that. What a nut.

Yep, Reid definitely has more of the Benson. I love the way you took the three pictures to make one. Fun! And yes, Parker is looking older. I noticed that on the dancing post the other day. It's going to be a LONG year for you until kindergarten starts.

one more thing...Parker really is getting good with his coloring. His picture taking skills aren't too bad. He just needs to hold still so it will focus!

I am wild about your split pix. So rad. I think Parker's pose supports your smarty pants compliment. With that look he could convice anyone he's smart should the need arise. I love it that he's taking pictures. So fun.

Those are great shots- the ones from Parker, I mean!
Just kidding, but he is getting really good!! Alex is our photographer- if I am in a picture, it's probably because he took it! Cute!
Love that outfit and I remember those pants on Parker- so adorable!
It may be a long year before Kindergarten, but cherish it because it goes by fast!
I know you will!

Before I even read your post I was thinking to myself "Parker is getting so big" Your boys are really cute, you are going to have to watch them when they get older! Love the pictures you took to make one, great idea as always.

I think the pictures kids take are so cute and funny. It seems like kids grow up over night -- he does look big, it;s the new kicks!

Cute pictures! I should let my kids use my camera often. I'm sure it would be fun to see some of the shots they take.

Watch out, my boys are now as bad about buying many pairs of shoes as my girls, and theirs surely cost more! You can't go to TJ Maxx, or Nordstrom rack and find their shoes on incredible clearance. You have been warned by a mother of 6 boys!

I love the way you did those shots- very cool! and great tennis shoes too- very cute! We got Kenny & Jacob a kids camera a year ago or so, and also occasionally let them play with ours. It is hilarious to see the things they take pictures of. The cats, our feet, pictures they drew, the dog food. It is just interesting to see the world from their perspective!
