This is a short one, but I dug deep into the archives to share it today. Melissa, Jessica and I did our Science Fair project together in the fourth grade. We thought it was a good one...about which articles biodegrade. We buried a bunch of trash in my back yard and dug it up after a few weeks to see what was decomposing and what was not. Brilliant, right? I was devastated when we didn't win. In our school, the people who played music to their flowers to help them grow always won.
Anyway, we have always laughed at these pictures. And we made fun of Jessica big time for wearing the same outfit every time we got together. People were going to think she only owned one outfit. Oh, the simple joys of being nine.
The pictures are horribly blurry, but what can you do?

How cool are you guys??Its a good thing I didn't know you at this time or I would feel completely left out!
Those are some sweet outfits!! Gotta love em'!
I think that is a great idea!! Any one with plants and music always wins. :)
Love the outfits!
Okay, this is going to sound a little weird, but Aaron and I BOTH noticed it.... some of your older pictures of yourself actually resemble some old pictures of me! Isn't that strange? I know it doesn't make any sense and we don't look anything a like now. If I ever get a working scanner, I will post some. I am loving looking at old pictures of everyone!
Gotta LOVE those bangs!!
How fun! You guys were so cute... And I'm pretty sure I had that same shirt that you are wearing in the first picture!
I remember you guys doing this, and I thought it was the coolest project ever... Maybe I have you to blame for my environmentalism.
Those pictures are rad. Gotta love the hair!!
Thanks for pointing out I was wearing the same outfit too bad it wasn't that cute. Thanks for including me on a flash back Friday.
Oh yeah it looks like we are posing for a magazine or something. It is a good thing you had me to do all the hard work.
Those were fun to see. I looked at your mamma's blog 'cause she left me a nice commment and I saw pics of Youth conferance and camp. I was horrified to see the one of me up there. I looked so horrible! Those were not my shining years. I saw that you had a picture of you, Randi and I and I totally want a copy of it! I still remember that song and I think of you and Randi everytime I hear it.

Hey, Katie. How do you get those cute backgrounds on your page??? I can't figure out how to do it!!
Those pictures are classic!
Those are some great pictures! I love them! I wish I still had enough old pictures to do this. You have to be so organized to do something like this! I love them all!
Ok so I loved these pictures, they are great!! I am so happy that we found each other on the world wide web... love the flashbacks.
Oh my goodness you look so much like your mom at that age!
