To See Or Not To See...

...that is the question.

I spent some time at the eye doctor yesterday and as of this afternoon, I am now the proud owner of one pair of eye glasses. What's going on here? I've always had perfect vision. Am I now getting old enough that my body has started deteriorating? I hope not.

The doctor said I didn't have to wear them all the time, but after wearing them for one afternoon, how could I not? I can't believe the difference. I didn't think my world was blurry before. But now, I realize how much I couldn't see a few hours ago. My world is crystal clear...with sharp lines. This is awesome. But glasses will take some getting used to. We'll see if I'm an avid wearer or not.

It took Gray a minute to recognize me when I came home. Parker ran screaming and Reid started to cry. Not the reactions I was hoping for.

You look amazing!! I love you in glasses! You look very trendy and I would wear them all the time! I can't imagine having to wear glasses- I have always had good vision, but I imagine someday my good eyes will wear out and I will have to succumb- Leah will need them soon- her eye doctor tested her with her chalazion and said she will for sure be near sighted- I am not sure how they tell that so soon, but that was Dana's problem- he got lasik before we moved here- but our kids poor sight will attribute to him- their bad teeht I have to take responsibility for! Oh well, but they are really great on you!!

VERY cute! And somehow, I think you look more like me now than before. By the way...did you color your hair or is that just the lighting from the camera?

Ahhh, yah! I love glasses, is that strange. I lied to my parents in the 4th grade and faked my way through an eye exam so I could get some (I hope they aren't reading this) and a couple years ago, I went to the SEE store and bought some cool shades for my dental job because I had another excuse to wear eye-wear...Anywho, you look so chic!

LOVE THEM! You look great. Your kids reactions are hilarious. The question is, what did Spencer think? So did you also get contacts? Obviously I've never met your brother but I think the left picture looks like him. Do you?

So..I don't know if I ever told you, but Kori used to live in Texas and she used to travel a little with her job there. She found out you live in D-town and she called me to tell me what a crappy town that is!! Oh I feel so bad for you!! But, she told me about a really cool place that is about 1 1/2 hours from D-Town. Its called Fossil Rim Wildlife. Its in Glen Rose, Tx and its a wildlife safari place. I guess you drive your own car around the park and the animals come to your car and you can feed them. She said a giraffe stuck its head in her car!! She thought your kids would love it. I don't know if you have heard about it but she loved it.

And that place Traci talked about? My roommate went there during Christmas... she said it was super cool!

Love the glasses! I am the same way...I have glasses to wear only at night because I cant see worth beans and you would think I would wear them more because it makes such a difference but I get annoyed with them... so usually you just see me squinting.

You look awesome. I think you are one of those girls that I hate that make everything and anything look good. I have glasses (same scenario, didn't know how much I needed glasses till I got them) and I never wear them wich is really ironic because I wanted them SOOOO badley as a kid because I thought they made me look cool. Now I just look like a geek. I'll have to post a pic someday.
