Random Mom

This is my mom. Isn't she a babe? Not only that, but she's available. So if anyone knows any tall, good looking, rich, single men, feel free to send them her way. She doesn't have a blog, but wanted to play the random fact game. Her purpose wasn't for me to post them, but I thought you all should know what an awesome mom I have...despite her gag reflex and a few other of these random things.

Random Facts

1. I have a fetish for dishes. My current count is 13 sets.
2. I have an overly sensitive gag reflex. I have gagged and even thrown up brushing my teeth.
   
3. I went back to college and earned my Bachelors Degree at age 45.
4. I was captain of the Meteorettes in high school. (That was the school drill team. We lived in Winslow Arizona by the Meteor Crater, hence the name.)
5. The only broken bone I’ve ever had occurred 4 years ago when I tripped over the shoes I’d left out. It required extensive medical treatment.
6. I’ve been chased by a Moose.
7. In High School I was taken to the Police Station for “deviant behavior” and had to call my parents to pick me up.
8. I have a secret ambition to be on a professional dance line.
9. I’ve had Letters to the Editor published three different times.
10. I started going GRAY when I was 29.
11. My Junior High “boyfriend” was Bill Engvall of “Here’s Your Sign” fame. He gave me a stuffed animal for Christmas.
12. Katie and I “won” the Girls Camp talent show by singing, I enjoy Being a girl.
13. I am working on my Masters Degree.
14. I love to sew. Especially decorator sewing.
15. I made my wedding dress.
16. I won’t eat seafood!!!
17. My least favorite chores are emptying the dishwasher and folding laundry.
18. I love to work in my yard.
19. Taco bell is my favorite fast food joint.
20. I have gone for a walk nearly every day for the past 14 years.
21. I love to decorate for holidays! Currently my house is decorated for Valentine’s day but I also decorate for Easter, 4^th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and January.
22. As a school teacher, I’ve had a child throw up in class (an 8^th grader), and one who cut his own hair on picture day (kindergarten).
23. I hate surprise parties (when they’re for me.)
24. I always order a chimichanga when I go out for Mexican Food.
25. Peanut butter M&M’s are my favorite candy.
26. In high school, for a store promotional, I had to dress up as Buster Brown and greet shoppers.
27. I love wearing Heels. People think I’m much taller than I am because I always wear tall shoes.
28. Can’t say I’m a big fan of Girls camp. That is problematic when you’re a YW president and a Stake YW president.
29. I love newborns.
30. I taught early morning seminary and loved it!
31. If I could, I’d have a fresh bouquet of flowers in my house at all times
32. I have been alive during the tenure of seven church presidents.
33. My most recent speeding ticket was for going 26 mph over the speed limit. I was coming home from a youth pioneer trek, hadn’t showered for 4 days, and was wearing ridiculous pioneer clothes. The officer made me get out of the car and threatened to arrest me.
