My Fine Four Fendered Friend

This is unreal. I know the clip is kind of long. But it's still a shorter version of a longer clip. The Swiss came up with a car that seriously drives on land AND underwater. Talk about Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang. Or more like James Bond. The longer clip shows that it can also be remote controlled. It seems ridiculous and completely useless...but people thought that about the microwave too. Who wants to bet our great grandchildren will all have one parked in their driveways...if they still have driveways in the future.

****OK...I've thought of a couple uses...mainly natural disasters. Think of a flood, or even just driving into high water during a rainstorm. Or what about that major bridge collapse a year or so ago. Provided you don't get smashed, you could drive out. I'm not trying to make light of a serious situation...I was deeply saddened by that. But seriously...it could help. Maybe I should get one.

This is wild! I am going to show this to Brady. He loves cars! He is not going to believe it.

Okay...not very practical if you ask me. Say you are stuck in traffic, on your way to work...so you decide to take a short cut through the lake. As soon as you exit, your hair and clothes are wet and your make up is runny. It needs to have a top for when you are under water, then I will consider getting one!=)

I showed this to Austin and he says he is gonna start saving now for his "swimming car"!

That may be the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen, and by ridiculous I mean great, and by gret I mean ridiculous.

This car would totally come in handy in Florida where traffic is HORRIBLE because they have to build roads AROUND all the water. You could just drive straight through it and your commute to work would be significantly shorter...although, you would have to wear your bathing suit and then change when you got to work or walk around soaking wet all day....and you would be risking being eaten by a shark....or an alligator.

so why in the world do they leave the top down? why can't it be waterproof? makes absolutely no sense.

To address everyone's comments about leaving the top down...It's a water pressure thing. That's all I know.

that is too crazy...i was wondering the same thing...why no top..but that makes sense- it would probably only be worth having in case of a natural disaster.
