I Lost My Number...Can I Borrow Yours?

105.3. Sounds like a radio station right? Wrong. That was my son's temperature when I took him to the doctor yesterday. Reid's been running a high fever for 5 days now.

1-866-43657-11. That was the number to call for my favorite American Idol contestant last night. Jason Castro was by far and above my favorite last night. Coming in second... 1-866-43657-03. David Cook. Did I call and vote? Absolutely not.

3. Yes, it takes 3 weeks to get my drivers license in this backwards town. Seriously. In Columbus, they took your picture, you waited 2 minutes, and they handed you a license. Here, I waited in line for 56 minutes, they took my picture, handed me a piece of paper that is supposed to take place of my license for the next 3 weeks and then it should come in the mail. Can anyone say identity fraud? Not only that, but they don't even have credit/debit card machines there. I had to bring $24 dollars in cash to pay for my drivers license.

1. I am now the proud owner of 1 copy of Thoroughly Modern Millie...quite possibly my favorite movie. Spencer ordered it for me on Thursday and it got here in just 4 business days. Thanks babe!

200. There is a 200 acre park just 1 mile from our house. Including a jogging trail, a pond that is periodically stocked with trout for our fishing pleasure, and the most fantastic playground I have ever seen. This picture does not do it justice. It is HUGE. In fact, I get a little nervous that if I send my kids in, they won't come out. They could seriously get lost in this monstrosity of a playground. It is incredible!

Oh my goodness! I hope that Reid is alright! And I hope you found a good doctor.
And 3 weeks for a license?!!? Even in PIEDMONT we can get a license faster than that! First off, there's never a line then they take your picture and hand you a brand new license. Of course no ATMs here either. You have to pay with check. And really--who carries a check book with them anymore?
Hooray for owning Thoroughly Modern Millie! I can't believe that you haven't owned it before now!

How is Reid doing?! That sounds terrible! Did you find a good Pediatrician, yet? I hope things go well with that new license! That is really odd! Oh, and thanks for the move advice- I am going to re-post some updates on it, but we aren't going out west for sometime, so I think we are looking for a house to settle in for about 10 or more years. I will keep you updated! Have a great day!!

Geesh! Poor Reid!!! That's awful. I hope he gets better! I watched the first half of Idol last night. I didn't get to see Jason. I did like your other pick. I really liked the UT 17 year old too. I loved him dancing to it. 3 weeks for a license?!?!?!?! HEllO?!

I hated american Idol last night....totally boring. I hate these stupid themes they make them do, its just like hearing them sing lousy kareoke.

I am super impressed by the 200 acre park! I thought our 26 acre park was amazing!

How bout the number 12. That is how freaking cold it was this morning when I took my kids to school. Can you tell I am ready for spring!

I am very jealous of that park!!! How much fun is that?

Eeeeek! 105!?! That is a pretty high temp. Kids always seem to deal with those kinda temperatures better than adults though.
The park sounds nice. Except for the fishing. Fish creep me out. Waiting for the license....welcoem to the south. They seem to do everything slower here. :)

I hope Reid is feeling better, poor boy! I am a big movie person and have never seen "Thoroughly Modern Millie" - So I might have to rent that next time. Love the parks too!

Alright, so jealous of the park. If we had a cool park like that I wouldn't need to go to all the theme parks. Love the new hair!
I still need to update my licence from our move. I just hate the DMV! Hope Reid is doing better.

Dang, so sorry to hear about your little guy!! Hope he gets better soon..
Okay, I too am an American Idol junkie.. For the guys I liked: Dave Archuleta, Jason Castro, and Michael Johns.. Some of the others guys..... YAWN!!! It's pretty sad when you skip through songs b/c they're boring. I haven't watched the girls night yet... We TiVo EVERYTHING!!! Love it! Have a great weekend.

Fun post! I am a huge AI fan, and I don't have Tivo so I am dedicated to being home and watchin every night. I thought these two that you liked were great as well, and I like three others. I think the two that went home needed to go. And I like the boys more than the girls.
That park looks amazing! I guess things really are bigger in Texas.

105! How's he doin? Love the fishing pond. We have one right down the street and it is so fun in the spring and summer. I am totally an American Idol junkie. I LOVED Jason. He was my favorite of the boys and girls combined.
