Shine On

So yesterday, all three boys were playing on the bunk bed and somehow Gray got a bed post to the face, adding another nasty black eye to the mix. A pretty bad one.

This morning, I got a phone call from Parker's teacher. Parker tripped and hit his face on a desk. She said it's in the same spot has his last black eye which is not quite healed yet. He got a bruise and a bump.

I can't recall any black eyes since Spencer and I have been parents. And now 3 in one week.

And guess who's coming tomorrow night? Children's services. Wish us luck. We're gonna need it.

I am so sorry Katie! this is crazy. I mean what is up!? This on top of Mike's situation. I can't imagine the stress of all of it. It's just ridiculous to think of you under investigation! Whenever I come to your blog I wish I were you with what an amazing mom you are and fun family you have! I'm sure this will pass, it has to, but I hope it gets over with smoothly and as quickly as possible!

Oh Katie; I guess all you can do is cry or laugh right? You are dealing with it all very well! I remember once Libby and Ella were jumping off the bed and the both hit the window sill and ended up with bumps and black eyes. 2 days later we had check ups at the pediatricians office (I should have rescheduled) and the Dr. says, "Oh what happend to your eyes?" 4 year old Libby says, "What did you say that happend to my eye, Mom?" Not helpful!
Good luck with the visit, I'm sure all will go well.
Let me know if you need anything when you get here. I can pick you up from the airport and get you to where your mom and Mike are. My cell is 801 865 0098. Let me know if you need anything!

What a insane week for you! In know we had stitches for Jordan twice in two days. The second set, I shaved his head and butterflied closed, just to avoid the CPS event that was coming. Hang in there baby! You are the rockin' momma!

Sorry to hear of your trials right now. Michael is in our prayers. When we first moved to Corona, Amber and Heather both broke their arms two days apart! Thankfully, no one came knocking on our door. It's a good story now...Love your blogs!

Oh, Katie- you sooo don't deserve this. I will be praying for you tomorrow!!! If they need a reference as to what kind of parents you are, I think there is a few hundred who could testify for you. :) (and, there has to be someone else at church who can testify of last weeks black eye being an accident, too!!!)
