More on Mike

Mike is still hanging on. The reconstructive surgery on his face went great. I hear he looks pretty good (I'll see first hand on Thursday). Some days we see set backs, others improvements. But mostly, he remains pretty stable. Still in a coma.

I try not to focus too much on set backs. My thoughts are that since this is in the Lords hands, his chance of making it through this remains the same.

Mom and Lisa have asked us all to unify our prayers; that we all pray specifically that his brain may be healed. If anyone would like to join us in a fast tomorrow, we will happily welcome all that are interested.

Thank you for your continued prayers.

I'm glad that you're able to go out there! How long will you be able to stay?

Rich and I plan on fasting for Mike... and I put his name on the prayer roll.

I'm glad you are getting the chance to come out. Let me know if you need anything. I don't know if any of your kids are coming, if they are let me know if you need help babysitting. Our kids are roughly the same age. (According to Traci) my email is korijean@gmail.com

Is he in a medically induced coma? I am thinking of him all the time. Please keep your updates coming.

Holy smokes! I missed one of your blog posts and then I saw this one and had to read back to see what on Earth happened to Mike. I can't believe this! Oh Katie! My prayers are with you guys.

And I really couldn't believe your Children's Services story. It was so horrible and hilarious. I had to call Nathan over to read it. I could just imagine all your kitchen stuff littering your living room and you looking your best in your paining apparel answering the door to this stranger. Ahhh! And anyone who has heard Spencer's giggle when he watches the "Sisters" scene in White Christmas would know he is incapable of beating his kids!
