I'm a fool for you

Hopefully I posted this early enough that a few of you can steal some of these ideas for tomorrow.

The Katie Did blog I linked to the other day had some FANTASTIC April Fool's tricks last year. I've been waiting all year to implement them.

The colored milk in the cereal I used on St. Patrick's Day. The boys thought it was the leprechauns. It worked like magic.

I'm not sure if I can pull off the balloon thing. No one (besides me) ever shuts the door around here. Boys have no shame.

But the Jell-O/ Kool-Aid fake out is the one I'm most excited for. It's brilliant!

I'm also considering stuffing the toes of their shoes with tissue paper. But I may save that for a year the crazies are all old enough to put their own shoes on.

And possibly switching all the bags of cereal inside the boxes.

What do you think? And what tricks are you planning to play?

My mom does the classic dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner every year. John and I are boring...we do nothing to celebrate... bah-humbug!

Fun Ideas!
If I can get Melanie out of the house long enough, I'm going to giftwrap every single item in her room - blow dryer, jewelry box, shoes, fish tank, desk chair - everything. Unfortunately, she is on spring break so she's home. I think she's going to the park for the afternoon, we'll see . . .

Katie,
My Dad used to put a small spool of thread inside his pocket, leaving just a tail out, and then ask me to pull the loose thread off his jacket. Silly, but I loved it.

I changed all the clocks this morning while the boys were getting ready. When they came down to get ready to go I was like, "it's 8:15?" the started scrambling around and sprinting. Brad says, "no that clock is wrong" as he looks at his cell phone...thanks for ruining the joke Brad.
