Wii've Got Good News and Bad News

GOOD NEWS: Grandma and Grandpa Smith got us a Wii for Christmas.

BAD NEWS: My kids make me share it.

GOOD NEWS: Playing doesn't make me sore any more.

BAD NEWS: I have tendinitis in my wrists and it's really acting up. (Yet I can't seem to quit.)

GOOD NEWS: I can see that at some point in the future it's new-ness will wear off and I won't spend the kids entire nap time playing Wii. (Especially when Parker's back in school during nap time and I can have it all to myself.)

BAD NEWS: Until then, blogging will likely be sparse.

HA! We got a wii from Rich's parents. Actually, it was a gift to me and Rich... but I still have to share with William :(

That's funny! We've had our wii for a few years now and it's newness still hasn't worn off. We have family wii night a lot. We go "bowling" about once a week and play lots of other games together often. We just got the resort sports game this year and played it all day with my extended family. I love it!

We've had ours for over a year but don't buy games very often so it gets boring. We will go months without touching it. But for Christmas we got a couple new games and the fun is back on. :) If you have Mario Kart, we can play against each other online!

Jake just ordered a Wii and it should be coming soon! My Dad bought one for their house and Jake told him I wish I got one... He never says what he wants! So he ordered it himself.

Is it really that fun? I'll have to let you know.

Hi Katie,
WII have had a WII for a year or so now, but Santa put a WII FIT under the tree this year. WII are not about to get on that thing, because it weighs you!!! But everyone else loves it!

Too funny! The wii is so much fun, but so addictive, I had to just give it up... because of my tendinitis and my increasingly messy house, but the kids love love love it! (Four player games are a life saver.)

Congrats on the Wii, I want one SO BAD!!! I am just picturing you in your living room all by yourself bouncing all over the place playing your Wii with a HUGE smile on your face. You are quite a funny one I must say!

Yeah! I'm glad you got one. John and I don't play ours very often...mostly just when people are over. It is a good time though..

We love our Wii!!! It is the only video game system that I found myself wanting. I was never interested in Nintendo or Playstation or any of those, but when I first started seeing adds for the Wii, I really thought it looked fun! Aaron took that as a sign that I could be persuaded so we saved our pennies a while back and got one. I really enjoy it! And, now that he got me a Wii Fit for Christmas, I hopefully I can use it to get myself moving again! :)

We love our Wii too. Now people are trying to get us to play online with them. That can only make it worse we may have a harder time stopping if we are playing with someone else.

I'm loving the Wii at my parents-definitely a novelty. Tho I have to fight the kids for it. Good luck with the wrist pain-ow!

I love your new layout.
