I was looking for pictures of something completely different for today's FlashBack Friday, but I ran into these and just had to laugh. They were calling to me and I couldn't resist posting them.
Mom and Jeff...do you remember this fantastic trip to Sea World? Highlight of my summer no doubt. It was the summer after my sophomore year of college and we were trying to think of something fun to do while I was home. We hadn't been to Sea World since we were really little and decided that would be a great way to spend the day. Like two hours and two hundred dollars later, we were all Sea World' out. Despite that, I have such a good memory of that day...we just about laughed our heads off...about everything. We even got totally faked out at the dolphin show when the trainer fell in the water.
And we thought it was way past funny that this guy and I were wearing the same outfit. So funny, in fact, that Jeff had to take a picture.
And why was there a cow statue at SEA WORLD? Once again, we thought it was funny and needed to document it. I had this picture framed in my apartment clear up until I got married.

That was a crazy day. We had a lot of fun. Do you remember that coin jar that dad kept around? I think we raided it for this trip.
And for those of you wondering why Michael wasn't invited...he was on his mission.
That looks like a good day of memories. I think you rocked that outfit way better than the man did. That was not his color. =)
The cow picture was great. You and your brother look so cute.
10.00 for parking, 100 dollars for 3 entrances to the park, 25 dollars each for lunch that included 4 oz. drinks, sitting in the hot sun to watch animal shows included, memories that last a life time.....PRICELESS!!!!
A surfing cow?? COWABUNGA!! He, He, He,...I am funny.
Why is Sea World so stinking expensive?!!! I really like that place but not enought to pay the admission price!
Great memories though!!!
What a fun place!! I love fun places like that, and we went to Sea world when I was young. I love the matching outfit, and the pic of you and Jeff= very cute!
fun times with the Benson's! You three would make any place a hoot!
Wow- what a day! Your faces are all just shining- I can tell how wonderful it was. I also haven't been to sea world since I was tiny. We should do that. Love the matching outfits and the misfit cow. Very funny!
Ok, I realize the randomness of leaving a comment to a person that you have yet to actually meet, but here goes. I am in your ward, and a fellow transplant from Ohio (Cincinnati thought), and often find myself too flustered with my own 4 children to do much meeting and greeting! That said, your blog has covinced me that I must ignore the chaos for long enough to at least introduce myself to the woman who clearly has the kind of talent I only wish to posess. I bet I could listen to you tell stories for hours, you are so funny!! And, the number of comments on your blog tell me that you must be a great person to be with! So, although a little strange, I will say hello on your blog for now, aknowledging that I have intended to introduce myself for weeks, and hope to pass you in the halls real soon. But until then, thanks for the laughs ~Amber~
So fun... I love Sea World! And I love that you and thatguy had the same outfit on. That's hilarious! I'd take a picture too!
I miss Sea World. Now they have a deal where you buy your ticket for the day and you get a season pass for free. Tom and I did it two years in a row. We are now too far away to make it worth the money and I miss it already.
By the way I am going to be scanning in all of my old pictures soon and I may steal your idea of "Flashback Friday" if that is ok with you. It is going to take me a while so don't count on it happening any time soon ;)
I'm entering the blogging world again-at least for today. What a fun trip-and hilarious pix.
Chris & I went to Sea World last year for the first time since we had been married, in fact I think it was Chris' first time ever but we probably wont be back anytime soon... not worth it to me. ha ha But sounds like you guys had a blast for the day.
Looks like a super fun day! And the cow IS pretty random!
