Let's pretend for about 10 seconds that I'm a fashion blogger.
(Right...as much as I love fashion, I feel totally vulnerable in front of the camera. Plus I'm like an amazon woman in comparison to my favorite fashion bloggers. I applaud you Kendi, Tania, and Sydney. It's a rough gig.)
My mom and I made new cowl neck scarves while she was visiting. All the cool kids are wearing them. See here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here. (And yes, I'd jump off a bridge if they did it.)
Here's my version made from an old sweater. Ok, so it's not as great as a hand knit one. But I don't knit and this one was easy as pie. Actually, I don't make pie, either. But it was as easy as eating pie.
So much for my resolution to dress up a little more. But I did put a button down under my sweater. Baby steps.

So stylish!! Love all the choices- and I am looking forward to dressing up again- someday!!
Fantastic poser!
perfect! Hey... that's more than I dress up on any given day!
I wanted to post about our cowel neck scarves!!!! Oh well, everyone will see them twice.
Cowls are HOT. I have one on my needles at the moment. In fact, just got back from store for more yarn. Ran out...DARN it. I love yours!! You are darling no matter what you wear!!
Love it! I think you are so cute!!! Reminds me of the old days in college when fashion was everything. I love your resolution to dress up a little more, maybe I should put that one on my list.
Hi Katie! Love your scarf. A girl at work was just telling me about these today. She was knitting one during rehearsal - and then I got home and saw your blog and here it is again!
It was fun to see some Christmas pics too. Love you guys.
SO CUTE! My blogging guilty pleasure are fashion blogs. I LOVE seeing the clothes people wear, the styles they come up with, where they bought everything.
I need a tutorial on that cute cowl scarf.
Love the new cowl scarf! Looks great.
Oh and ps- you are NO amazon woman. If you are an amazon woman, I am a gargantuan. :)
i love the scarf. really nice. and my husband totally has one of those sweet scarves. i wish i was one of the cool kids.
Katie
At least you get dressed. I feel like I live in my pajamas. I have too many places to go so my hair is a disaster and hardly ever wear make up maybe I should just be like you and have a resolution to just look normal a little bit more!
Love it! I have been wanting to make one of these myself. Why haven't I? I don't own a sewing machine. :) Makes projects like this a little difficult. But yours looks great!
I love it and I prefer it over the hand knit ones. Awesome!
