For any of you wondering...
Six is the magic age when kids are FINALLY old enough to make it to the toilet to throw up. (Or 'puke-up', a term Parker coined years ago and he still calls it that now.) Parker demonstrated that repeatedly over the weekend. We were more than grateful.
Reid, however, continued to remind us that a four year still can't make it to the bathroom to puke-up.
Spencer was actually able to stay home this weekend and we celebrated with a bang!
(bang=stomach flu)

Ha puke-up. That's so sad.
Ugh....the mere thought of it makes want to "puke up"
Yuck! Hope everyone gets better today!!
How horrible. Hope it doesn't get around the whole family.
Oh that's awful (but great that at least one makes it to the toilet!) Hope everyone is feeling better soon!
Are u serious? I'm sorry :( at least u had someone home to help u, right?
So very sorry. In each life a little puke must fall.
There are certain milestones in a child's life that are never mentioned in the parenting text books. This is certainly an important one.
Hope your celebrating ends soon.
Oh man, I'm sorry!! At least your husband was there to help. Ugh. That is the worst, but on the plus side, six yr olds can puke in the toilet. Hope everyone is better soon!
Not always true.... the last time the stomach bug went through our house, Jacob (age 7...) did NOT make it- and threw up all over several things on the floor- including a bag already packed for the vacation we were leaving on the next day.... And, while Kenny makes it usually, one time recently it still got all over his top bunk bed... Good for Parker!!!! That is always a wonderful thing when they can get there on their own! Much less to clean and few germs circulating!
okay. I feel sick now. Hope you guys are feeling better by now.
so, Katie, the question is...what did you think of Mondos mini collection? i couldn't decide if I loved the polka dot dress or hate it!
